Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for efficiently managing the operational activities of the bakery, pastry shop, restaurant, or cafe. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring quality service and products, optimizing processes, and contributing to the achievement of business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
_ Team Management:
. Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff, including kitchen and front-of-house teams.
. Create work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment.
. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
. Oversee inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain logistics to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
. Collaborate with Purchase Dept to negotiate contracts and pricing.
_ Quality Control:
. Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service.
. Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation procedures.
. Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
_ Operational Efficiency:
. Streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
. Monitor and manage operational budgets, including labor and supplies expenses.
. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
_ Customer Experience:
. Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
. Develop and maintain customer service standards and guidelines.
. Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
_ Menu Management:
. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus.
. Analyze menu performance, including sales trends and customer preferences.
. Manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Compliance and Regulation:
. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing requirements.
. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
. Prepare for health inspections and other regulatory assessments.
_ Marketing and Promotion:
. Work with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and marketing strategies.
. Contribute to the development of marketing materials and campaigns.
. Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
_ Financial Reporting:
. Monitor financial performance (Revenue, Waste, Labor) and recommend strategies for improvement.
. Assist in budget planning and forecasting.
