About the Role:

Sunbytes is on the lookout for a dynamic Technical Writer to bolster our newly formed team, dedicated to serving our esteemed Dutch client in the thrilling realm of IoT security. You'll be collaborating with a group of exceptionally talented individuals hailing from various corners of Europe and Asia.

As our Technical Writer, your mission is to transform intricate technical details into captivating narratives that resonate with everyone. You’re not just creating documentation for the internal team but also the storyteller of innovation for external partners. Dive into our range of products and work with our internal superheroes, developers, product geniuses, and tech experts to bring our groundbreaking solutions to life in a way that captures everyone’s attention.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation that meets industry standards and is tailored to the intended audience, including user manuals, administrator guides, and release notes.


• Develop easy-to-understand guides that cater to the needs of both technical and non-technical users, ensuring a positive user experience.


• Regularly review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in product features, updates, and improvements. Ensure that documentation remains accurate and aligned with current offerings.


• Create, manage, and maintain documentation, implementing effective versioning practices to keep track of changes and updates.


• Work closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to gather in-depth knowledge of our product.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a strong portfolio showcasing technical documentation.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Excellent written communication skills in English.


• Familiarity with documentation tools and version control systems.


• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development processes.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
