About the Role

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. You’ll play a key role in monitoring financial performance, providing strategic insights, and ensuring financial integrity within the business.

This role offers flexibility to work from home (WFH) after the successful completion of your probation, with the option to work from one of our offices in Ho Chi Minh or Ha Noi.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounting

• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports within seven days of month-end
• Develop and maintain a Finance Dashboard for Unios Australia (UA), Vietnam (UV), and Unios Korea (UK)
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Generate and distribute monthly departmental budget variance reports
• Assist in annual budgeting and reforecasting

Financial Accounting

• Maintain Chart of Accounts
• Register fixed assets and run depreciation monthly
• Review Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), prepayments, and accruals
• Post manual journal entries
• Ensure accuracy of transactions
• Liaise with external accounting providers for tax reporting and annual tax review

Other Responsibilities

• Support the transition to Microsoft Dynamics as the ERP system
• Lead training and development of Finance team members, including the Accounts Officer
• Provide back-up support for the Accounts Officer’s tasks

About You

We seek an analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong financial acumen. You’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Essential Criteria

• 3–5 years of experience in management and financial accounting within Australian corporate environments
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
• Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Dynamics (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills in English (IELTS 7.0–7.5 or equivalent)
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to streamline financial processes and improve efficiencies
• A team player with a service-oriented mindset, eager to learn and adapt

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification in Management or Financial Accounting
