- Identify new business opportunities and new customers whose business profile matches the target customers defined by WeFreight Vietnam.
- Develop overseas customers according to the orientation and direction of WeFreight Vietnam for both long-term strategy and short-term goals.
- Develop the targeted domestic as well as foreign overseas market and seek relationships on behalf of WeFreight with potential customers.
- Maintain good relations with existing customers and develop new customers to ensure incremental sales growth by seniority.
- Actively participating in activities and events organized by logistical and freight forwarding networks that WeFreight Vietnam is enrolled in to build up relationships and partnerships within these networks.
- Conduct online meetings with new and existing overseas customers as well as customer visits.
- Responsible for quoting new and existing customers in a timely manner.
- Ensuring follow-up with new as well as existing customers’ inquiries and requirements within an acceptable timeframe.
- Responsible for gathering and collecting sales leads locally for redistribution to our partners as well as our other WeFreight offices in other countries.
- Develop sales plans and strategies by coordinating with WeFreight management to achieve the sales targets.
- Coordinate with direct colleagues, other WeFreight offices in other countries as well as ocean and air freight carriers to resolve the requirements of the customers.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating correct data input within the logistical software of WeFreight Vietnam.
- Coordinating with Operational team to ensure customers’ requirements are met.
- Proactively monitor the ocean and air freight market to ensure that the core business services of WeFreight Vietnam is on a competitive level.
- Report the sales and work performance on a weekly and monthly basis with management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
