Role Overview:

The Media & Digital Content Intern supports the Digital Officer and school communications team in producing engaging, high-quality visual content that showcases EMASI’s programs, learning experiences, and school life.

This role is ideal for Junior or Senior university students majoring in Media, Marketing, Communications, or Digital Content Creation who want real-world experience in video production, visual storytelling, and digital branding within a bilingual school environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production & Visual Storytelling

• Film school activities, classroom learning, events, and student projects

• Support the creation of short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long-form recap videos

• Assist in scripting, storyboarding, and planning video concepts

• Edit videos with music, subtitles, transitions, and branding elements that adhere with EMASI Brand Guidelines.

• Ensure content reflects EMASI’s learning outcomes and school values

2. Graphic Design & Digital Content Creation

• Design simple digital assets for social media (posts, covers, story visuals, thumbnails)

• Support adaptation of campaign visuals into different formats

• Assist in maintaining visual consistency with EMASI’s brand identity

• Collaborate with the designer for larger projects when needed

3. On-site Media Coverage

• Provide media coverage during school events, activities, and special programs

• Capture high-quality photos and behind-the-scenes moments

• Coordinate with teachers and students to gather content for storytelling

• Organize and archive media files for future marketing use

4. Social & Digital Support

• Work with the Digital Officer on content ideas for social platforms

• Support preparation of content for Facebook, website, and other digital channels

• Stay updated with trends in video style, transitions, music, and formats suitable for Gen Z & parents

Requirements

• Junior or Senior student majoring in Media, Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related fields

• Strong interest in video production and digital content

• Basic skills in tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop, or similar

• Good visual sense for framing, lighting, and composition

• Creative mindset with attention to storytelling, not just recording

• Responsible, proactive, and comfortable working in a school environment

• Ability to work onsite during school hours and events

• Commitment to child protection and safeguarding policies

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience managing personal social media or content channels

• Knowledge of short-form video trends

• Basic motion graphics or animation skills
