1.PHYSICAL DESIGN:

Key Description:

• Accountable for overseeing technology implementation in projects and delivering technical solutions or guidance to ensure successful completion.
• Responsible for offering technical expertise and solutions as needed.
• Focused on mentoring and supporting team members to strengthen their technical skills and boost overall productivity.
• Ensures adherence to processes within the assigned module and actively contributes to technical discussions and reviews.
• Prepares and submits status updates to mitigate risks, address escalations, or facilitate project closure.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in executing physical design projects.
• Demonstrated capability in technically leading small to medium-sized teams for project execution is highly preferred.
• Practical expertise in the complete Physical Design (PD) flow, from RTL to GDSII.
• Comprehensive understanding of key PD domains, including Floor Planning, Power Planning, Placement & Optimization, CTS (Clock Tree Synthesis), Routing, Design Convergence, and Sign-off, with specialized expertise in at least one area.
• Proficient in OCV (On-Chip Variation), MM/MC optimization, and multi-power design concepts, such as Level Shifters and Isolation Cells.
• Experience in addressing static timing analysis issues, including automated ECO generation.
• Strong knowledge of CTS (Clock Tree Synthesis) and skew correction techniques.
• Familiarity with library preparation processes in environments like Synopsys or Cadence.
• Hands-on experience with physical verification tasks at lower technology nodes, including database merging, DRC/LVS/ERC/PERC, antenna effects, ESD, and LUP analysis/fixes at both block and chip levels.
• Capability to take full ownership of blocks or chips from netlist/RTL to GDS.
• Exposure to IP Hardening for components like SERDES, USB PHY, MIPI, and SATA is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and TCL is a plus.
• Self-motivated and confident in communicating project statuses and sharing technical outcomes with clients.
• Strong presentation skills for reporting to senior management, with the ability to work effectively in geographically distributed teams and navigate cross-cultural dynamics.
• Competent in defining project milestones, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.

2.DFT (Design for Test)

Key Description:

• To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance or solutions for work completion

• To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions

• To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity

• To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.

• To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of Experience

• Handle MBIST insertion, Scan insertion, BSCAN insertion, APTG Verification.

• Experience on Mentor Tessent tool flow for DFT

• Good command of English. Have chance to work onsite in Japan.

3.VERIFICATION DESIGN

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of Experience

• Hands on experience with Verilog, System Verilog, UVM, debugging waveforms

• Knowledge of design flow from specification to implementation and verification

• Solid knowledge of Verilog RTL design

• Experience on Code Coverage, Functional Coverage, Assertions, …

• Prior team or technical leadership, or mentorship, are great value-added assets
