The Job:

As a Lead Engineer, Regional Procurement Management (Power Tools - Sourced Products), you will be part of GSM Procurement Operations team, driving Supply Chain Continuity & Executing Sourcing Strategy in Vietnam.

This position is a remote role based in Hanoi.

You’ll get to:

• Drive Suppliers On Time Delivery performance in close collaboration with Global Supply Chain & Quality teams.
• De-bottleneck Supply Constraints by adopting the most suitable problem-solving methodology.
• Lead & Drive Sourcing execution in alignment with Lead Category Manager– Driving RFx, Negotiations, Contract Management, Project Execution (Executing Transfer, Resourcing & ECN projects).
• Drive world class cost and margin enhancement (TCO Improvement) to deliver target productivity & working capital improvements.
• Lead and manage supplier relationships as the local representative for global affiliates.

Education: Engineering degree in a relevant field (Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering preferred).

Experience:

• Around 8 to 10 years of experience in global strategic sourcing or procurement including supplier selection.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, should costing, materials and experience in managing electro-mechanical component categories.

Skills / Personalities:

• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in English.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Personal drive, high energy, and a collaborative team spirit.
• Global exposure: Experience working with global and diverse teams, particularly with USA, is highly desirable.
