Mô Tả Công Việc
• Build a best-in-class technical design team within the center of supporting regional offices that can manage consistent tech pack creation across multiple brands/customers/locations
• Take ownership of this center of expertise and build road map to build trust from business to achieve its purpose and exceed expectation on its value
• Develop training and communication by which everyone involved with the technical design process understands the customers’/designers’ aesthetic and fit requirements for brand-appropriate final products
• Partner closely with us design team to ensure there is a clear understanding of handoffs throughout the design and development process
• Create a technical design department within the center of excellence that is a proactive owner of the technical design process, suggesting alternatives and solving problems
• Work in concert with product management and product development team on product re-engineering to balance the aesthetic and pricing target
• Establish and track sample approval rate and constantly work on improving them
• Engage leaders of design and product management teams to clarify all aspects of fit/technical design for brands/customers, ensuring a smooth hand-off during the product development lifecycle
• Ensure tech pack for samples and bulk products meet all customer and company requirements in terms of style fit on the production timeline and brand integrity
• Train teams to fully understand fit, technical garment construction and brand standards
• Provide support on all critical technical issues and negotiate with suppliers for necessary improvement
• Effective communication with teams in Asia and US leadership and teams
• Roll out thorough and detail planning of work flow and take complete control of technical design process
• Clear and effective communication to countries, teams and all relevant parties to enhance work efficiency and cost
• Train and motivate global team to achieve results
• Set high standards of performance for team’s ability to innovate and meet customers’ requirements
• Attract, develop and retain talent; create appropriate succession plans
• Apply appropriate quality as required by technical team according to product category
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• Degree in Textile, Technical Design, or related disciplines is preferred
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience
• Experience in apparel pattern making, technical design and garment fitting functions in US Market. Garment wash experience is an advantage.
• Strong product and material knowledge with good product safety requirements
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
• Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Strong problem solving skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Literate in Microsoft office programs
• Occasional travel is required
