MealSuite is looking to hire a Desktop Support Technician who will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, providing day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with hardware procurement and setup. The role will be crucial in improving operational efficiency and enabling the Vietnam office to better integrate with the broader organization.

- Provide day-to-day technical support to the Vietnam office, responding to Helpdesk tickets and incidents promptly and professionally
- Manage hardware ordering, logistics, and inventory management for the office. Ensure proper control and visibility of all IT equipment
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including provisioning hardware and setting up accounts (email, software, network access)
- Assist with various Helpdesk projects aimed at improving IT support operations
- Conduct regular audits of IT inventory and ensure that Snipe-IT inventory is updated accurately
- Oversee the upgrade of all remaining Windows 10 devices to Windows 11 to ensure consistency and security across all workstations
- Strong experience supporting Windows laptops and desktops, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations
- Proficiency in supporting macOS laptops and desktops
- Experience supporting BYOD mobile devices (Android & iOS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID
- Ability to administer and troubleshoot wireless networks, ensuring connectivity and performance for office users
- Knowledge of networking basics and the ability to troubleshoot common networking issues
- Experience using Helpdesk ticketing systems (Jira Service Management is a plus)
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and the ability to troubleshoot Linux-based devices
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
- Ability to use PowerShell for automation of common tasks and troubleshooting
- Experience with Bash scripting for automating processes on macOS and Linux systems
- Familiarity with Docker and Containers / Virtualization
- Good research and problem solving skills
- 2 - 4 years of experience in a technical support or IT support role, with a focus on hardware and software troubleshooting
- Strong written and oral communication in English and Vietnamese language. Comfortable with interpersonal interactions. No aversion to face-to-face communication
- Outstanding customer service skills - delivers a warm, open, solve-the-problem (non-defensive) experience
- Willingness to explore issues which may not be clearly within the purview of help desk to help a person in need
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to assist non-technical staff and collaborate with remote IT teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
