Position Summary:
Nextern, an US based innovator in developing and manufacturing class II & III electro-mechanical medical devices is seeking an Electronic Process Engineer for its Binh Duong, Vietnam location.

This position is primarily responsible for providing engineering support in the electrical and electronic fields, as well as expertise in the definition, design, development, and testing of a wide variety of projects in the medical devices field, as part of a multidisciplinary product development and manufacturing team. This role will include collaboration with engineers and designers from client companies.
Job Description:
1. Analyze design specifications, DFM/DFT and translate the requirements into robust manufacturing procedures to achieve quality and reliability of finished products.
2. Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and implements process improvements on existing manufacturing processes.
3. Defines and releases the deliverables by individual design and development plans including installation, performance, and operational qualification (IQ/PQ/OQ) protocols and reports.
4. Compiles and writes training materials; develops and conducts training sessions.
5. Monitor machine management data to maximize utilization and minimize machine generated scrap.
6. Enhanced knowledge of printer, Mounter and reflow soldering profiles. Ensure that process parameters are within acceptable tolerances for products and components,
and result in solder quality that meets IPC-610B requirements (or other applicable standards).
7. Interfaces with outside vendors to design and/or procure production tooling, including stencils, vacuum plates, wave solder pallets and product-specific fixtures and jigs to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
8. Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities, including equipment arrival,
positioning and installation, and scheduling of support groups (Machine Support, Facilities, etc.)
9. Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the other departments and
various groups to ensure efficient production methods.
10. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
11. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the public.
12. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions, including future manufacturing requirements and potential.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned by management to meet production schedule.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. BS in Mechatronics, Electronic with 5+ years in PCB/PCBA manufacturing
2. Certified or trained on IPC standard.
3. Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technically demanding environment.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop processes from specification to production.
5. Highly motivated individual that can independently drive deliverables to completion through collaboration among team members.
6. Demonstrated ability to develop and drive innovative solutions into processes and products.
7. Understanding of DFM, medical device design control / quality systems and the product development process (PLCP).
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills
9. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
10. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
11. Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
12. Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
13. Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
14. Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
