YOUR TASKS
- Provide operational management and support at the service center to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery handling of customer materials and shipments
- Assists with operational procedures, including sorting, loading/unloading activities, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, bagging, sending shipment status information, and accepting/securing over-the-counter payments
- Dispatches pick-up and delivery information in a timely and efficient manner; arranges daily pick-up schedules
- Process inbound material upon arrival and make sure material is available to the couriers and that material notgoing out for delivery is secured according to the Security policy and procedures
- Process outbound material according to the latest processes and procedures
- Carry out any administrative task that is required for the Service Centre
- Assist in ensuring operational practices and procedures are carried out effectively
- Work with sub-contractors, ensuring all activities are being carried out timely and meet service standards
- 1 - 2 years relevant experience
- Completed high school
- Communication skills (English and local language): spoken and written
- Must be able to lift up to seventy (70) lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to lift forty (40) lbs. frequently
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly
- Driving License (current and valid)
- Fork Lift License (preferable)
