Test Planning and Execution:
Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet functional requirements and quality standards.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and retrospectives.
Reporting and Documentation:
Document test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.
Maintain accurate records of test cases, test results, and defects.
Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and best practices.
Suggest improvements to the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist in the development and maintenance of QA documentation and processes.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in manual software testing.
Skills:
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is a plus.
