The Ronin Protocol Development (a.k.a. Ronin Core Development) team is dedicated to advancing and optimizing the stability and dependability of Ronin. As an EVM chain, Ronin capitalizes on Ethereum's technology and network effects, solidifying its position as the third most utilized blockchain by Daily Active Users (DAU). We are actively engaged in improving security, decentralization, and particularly scalability. We are delving into low-level optimizations across operating systems, virtual machines, databases, and networking to vertically enhance scalability. We are also exploring advanced cryptographic tools (e.g., Zero Knowledge proofs) to horizontally scale the network.

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of the source code of EVMs and zkEVMs. Investigate advanced cryptographic tools, including Zero-Knowledge Proofs.
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance the security, scalability, and decentralization of the Ronin network.
• Improve the design of peer's architecture through thoughtful, professionally communicated feedback.
• Contribute to open-source projects and play a role in building out the crypto ecosystem at large.

• Graduated or final-year students in Computer Science, Software Engineering/ Information Technology, or experience in related fields.
• Solid knowledge in computing theory including OS, data structures, algorithms, database theory, and networking.
• Demonstrate strong research skills, brainstorming, and ideating on new protocol designs. Help the team to evaluate the feasibility of any scaling solutions and problems. Good presentation skill is a bonus.
• Show strong problem-solving, time management, and project management skills to allocate personnel and resources for projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge and work experience in EVM chains is a bonus.
