As the Engineer, DevOps, you will lead the management of TAPTAP’s cloud infrastructure, oversee CI/CD pipeline optimization, and champion automation to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. You will mentor the DevOps team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to strategic infrastructure planning. 

And his/her responsibilities:    

Infrastructure: 

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS services (EKS, RDS, ECS, EC2, CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB Atlas) or On-Premise Kubernetes Cluster experience (K8S Cluster, Registry, Database Cluster, Load Balancing & Networking Experience). 
• Develop and enforce best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization. 

Automation and Monitoring: 

• Design & Maintenace IaC System suchs as Terraform. 
• Design and implement automation for tasks such as snapshots, backups, and monitoring. 
• Build robust monitoring systems, perform security audits, and ensure high system availability using tools like CloudWatch, ELK, Rancher, and Grafana. 

CI/CD Ownership: 

• Lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Git. 
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment processes and integration builds. 

Strategic Contributions: 

• Drive technical discussions and decisions to align infrastructure with company objectives. 
• Contribute to installation guides, release documentation, and quality assurance initiatives. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to production. 
• Champion a culture of automation and alignment between development and operations. 

Team Leadership: 

• Mentor and guide the DevOps team, ensuring knowledge sharing and fostering a collaborative culture. 
• Define workflows for secure, stable, and scalable clusters while driving process improvements.

You will have the following skills and experience:  

• At least 2 - 5+ years in DevOps 
• Proven expertise in managing cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. 
• Technical Proficiency: 
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. 
• Hands-on expertise with automation/orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm). 
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline). 
• Scripting experience in languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell. 
• Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with Java, Node.js, Postgres/MongoDB, Nexus, and microservices architecture. 
• Strong mentoring abilities with a focus on fostering team collaboration. 
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities. 
• Effective communication and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. 
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager for continuous improvement. 
• Good English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
