We are looking for an Engineer in Mobile Development (React Native) to shape TAPTAP mobile applications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. You will work primarily with React Native, and at times, may need to dive into native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Java/Kotlin) development as well. 

This role will report to Lead, Mobile Software: 

And his/her responsibilities:    

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, usability, and security. 
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms. 
• Write clean, maintainable code in React Native, with an understanding of integrating native modules for iOS and Android when necessary. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including business analysts, architects, and other engineers) to define project requirements and ensure alignment. 
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability, focusing on debugging, memory management, and concurrency. 
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality, provide feedback, and follow best practices. 
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, development, and delivery, ensuring project milestones are met on time and with excellence. 
• Work with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) and third-party libraries, ensuring effective unit testing and debugging of mobile applications. 
• Occasionally lead and mentor junior developers in small team settings, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and ensuring team alignment with goals.

You will have the following skills and experience:  

• Bachelor/Master Computer Science / Development degree and other related fields. 
• Have at least 2+ years of experience with mobile develop 
• Strong Javascript Code
• Good understand the architecture of the React Native framework 
• Experience writing unit tests, knowing security testing is a plus 
• Proficient in 3rd party sdk integration, writing native modules, have knowledge of jitpack, cocoapods 
• Proficient in using Reanimated and build smooth animations 
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, 
• Strong problem-solving 
• Able to develop proactive and good working relationships with other team members. 
• Good product mindset, communication
