The Project Officer reports to the Provincial Coordinator and is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring activities of all Strategic Approaches at the site and provincial level.
*** Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintains timetables for meetings and provides support to organizing and holding the meetings, including the preparation and dissemination of information and follow-up; • Arranges logistics for meetings; takes and follows up on the minutes; • Translates documents as required for project activities; • Arranges translation and interpretation services in accordance with business processes; • Maintains contacts with stakeholders; • Supports to complete paperwork related to administrative, financial, and logistic activities. • Be responsible for the administration and proper collection of required information from meetings and administrative activities. • Prepares activity plans (AP) and purchase resiquition (PR); • And perform other duties as required by the Provincial Coordinator or his/her designate.

Qualifications • BA or BE in administration, management, finance, law, or related fields. • More than 3 years of working experience in conducting similar work. • Experience in conservation, natural resources management or forestry in Vietnam is an advantage. • Experience with organizing meetings and events. • Working experience with USAID-funded or WWF projects is an advantage. • Working experience in a multicultural environment and with international organizations.
Skills and Competencies • Mid to higher skill level with Microsoft Office. • Report writing and networking skills. • Working proficiency in written and spoken English. • Good presentation, communication & interpersonal skills. • Identifies and aligns with the core values of the WWF organization: Courage, Collaboration, Respect & • Demonstrates WWF behaviours in ways of working: strive for impact, listen deeply, collaborate openly, and innovate fearlessly.
*** Working Relationships:
Internal: Reports to the WWF Provincial Coordinator and collaborates closely with BCA project staff. Interacts with other WWF staff on a per-need basis and as directed by the PC.
External: Interacts with stakeholders primarily at the community, commune, and district levels. Interacts with the provincial level, teams of implementing partners, other relevant projects and NGOs on an ad-hoc basis and as directed by the PC. Interacts with on a per-need basis and as directed by the PC. Interacts regularly with service providers.
