Is it important to take photos while traveling?

I think it is very important. However, I almost never do so. When I travel, I tend to be very “in the moment” with the adventure of it all and don’t want to step outside that moment to take photos. But I have come across other peoples photos of places that I had seen, then forgot, so I know the value of photographing your travels.

Can you trust other people’s travel journals on the internet?

To an extent, I don’t see why not. Expectations should be mitigated whenever taking advice from the internet, but that applies to all aspects of life. It is important to be wary of anything that is too ‘done up’ or as if they are just showing off for social media, people doing that are generally willing to distort the truth in order to get a higher view count.

What factors affect how people feel about travel?

There is a wide range of important factors that affect how people feel about travel, ranging from where they are leaving from, where they are going to, what time of year it is, how expensive the travel is, etc. Just like most other things there are a ton of factors to consider before going anywhere and all must be planned for.
