Cấu trúc Remember mang nghĩa là nhớ, nhớ lại điều gì, nhớ không quên làm gì hoặc gợi nhắc về kỷ niệm trong quá khứ. Ví dụ:
Cấu trúc Remember có thể đứng ngay ở đầu câu. Ví dụ: Remember the travel in Ho Chi Minh city? (Có nhớ chuyến thường du lịch ở thành phố Hồ Chí Minh không?)
Cấu trúc Remember đứng sau chủ ngữ. Ví dụ: Jenny remember seeing him somewhere. (Jenny nhớ đã gặp anh ấy ở đâu đó.)
Cấu trúc Remember có thể ở vị trí sau trạng từ tần suất (adverb of frequency) hoặc đứng trước những trạng từ khác như: clearly, vividly, hardly, correctly, precisely, always, still… Ví dụ:

Cấu trúc Remember trong câu gián tiếp: S + reminded + somebody + to V Lưu ý: Khi chuyển từ câu trực tiếp sang gián tiếp, cấu trúc remember + to-V sẽ được chuyển thành remind + to-V |
Jenny said to John: “You remember to wash the clothes today.” (Jenny nói với John: “Hôm nay anh nhớ giặt quần áo nhé.) → Jenny reminded John to wash the clothes today. (Jenny nhắc John hôm nay nhớ giặt quần áo.) |
