The plan illustrates changes which happened in a public park in the gap between 1990 and 2020

Overall, there are plenty of buildings which appeared in 2020.In the first ,plan there were basic places which can be located in the park. However, with the  development of modern technologies, the park in 2020 notably changed by new additions.

Firstly,in 1990 the entrance was among a phone booth and shops. In front of it was a Buddha statue which was in the centre. The West side had a playground for outsprings.Above it was a Krishna temple, located in the corner. The neighbour of it was a flower garden which took a huge place. In the East corner was a toilet. On the other hand, opposite to it was located a Koi pond.

Secondly, that can be seen easily that the entrance changed his location. In 2020 it was on the East side.At that time its neighbours were a Koi pond, which didn't change his place and a new museum which replaced a toilet.Next to the museum was a stage for programs which was also a new structure. However, besides this was a previous garden, but smaller.Other buildings on the West side didn't change, except for a toilet which moved to the West South corner. In front of it appeared a new building, which is a cafe.Next to it is also a new shop. The Buddha statue stayed in the same spot.

The maps outline the changes that took place in a public park called Grange Park from 1920 to today. Overall, the park was changed and renovated to offer people more possibilities than they used to have decades ago such as a cafe, theatre, playground and parking.

In details, the park was opened in 1920 and entertainment facilities including a larger stage and various areas for recreation have since been added to it. There was also notable relocation in terms of seats and the only areas that remained unchanged were the entrances and one minor garden. Besides, the fountain has been removed in favour of a rose garden with full seating arrangements around it. To the left of the new garden, the previous stage for musicians has been turned into a much larger amphitheatre facing the opposite direction that will allow for concerts in the park. This change has necessitated the removal of both seatings on the far left side as well as the rose garden in the bottom left corner of the map.

Moreover, the pond for water plants was removed from the right -top part of the garden and a children's play area was introduced in the right-top of the park, and near this area, a cafe was built. Instead of the pond, a water feature has been built occupying the bottom right corner. Interestingly, the number of rose gardens was reduced to two. Besides, an underground car park was built in the lower right corner of the park.

The two maps illustrate various changes of Grange park from its opening in 1920 to the present.

Overall, it is evident that the park has been re–arranged significantly and more entertainment facilities such as play areas and café have been added over the given period.

In 1920, visitors can enter the park from the northern entrance on Arnold avenue or the southern one on Eldon street, but now the park has a new entrance from the underground car park. A fountain was located right at the heart of the park, with a large stage for musicians on the left. At the present, the former was replaced by a large rose garden surrounded by many seats while the latter was destructed to make room for an amphitheater for concerts.

Previously, there were two rose gardens on the north and south of the stage and one on the right of the northern entry, with many seats placed next to them, but now, only the one on the north existed. The northeastern corner used to be space for a pond for water plants while the southeastern one was for a glasshouse. Today’s picture shows that they are substituted by a cafe, a children’s play area, and a water feature respectively.
