The diagram compares the layouts of a single-person student room and a student room designed for two people at an Australian university.

Overall, it is apparent that the student room for two people is noticeably more spacious and has more furniture than its counterpart to the detriment of a higher weekly rent.

Concerning price, the two-person room costs 350 dollars weekly, slightly above the one-person room at 200 dollars. Although both rooms share the same length of 6 meters, the two-person room is slightly wider at 4 meters compared to the 2.5 meters width of its counterpart. The entrance of both rooms is neatly positioned between a bathroom and a kitchen area which is placed perpendicular to the doorway in the single-person room, and parallel in the other; both consisting of a sink, a stove, and a microwave. Regarding personal areas, each room has a bed in the far left corner, which is in the middle of a window and a study desk. However, the two-person room has an extra bed and desk to the right and is separated by 2 cupboards to form an additional private zone. Notably, the two-person room exclusively comes with a table and chairs in the center of the room, which could be used for dining or group activities.

There has been quite an obvious discussion around the topic of unpaid internships. While some people believe that young people should only focus on their studies, I would argue that they should go through a free internship during their learning. I will explain my reasons in this essay.

There is no doubt that working without pay has some negative effect to students while they are studying process. This is because some students who work as a volunteer will not get enough time for their homework or lessons. For example, students have internships after they finish class so they will not prepare for their homework, and they will less concentrate in their classroom. As a result, they need to focus on study to pass their exam.

However, it is worth pointing out that there are many benefits of working as a volunteer while they are studying at university. This is based on the fact that pupils can increase their knowledge when they work in the real workplace. For instance, in Australia, many colleges provide internships for their students who study in commercial cookery to work at hotels, which can improve their knowledge and practical skills. Consequently, working as trainees can gain work experience that can relate to their future careers.

In conclusion, we can observe that working for a short time without pay is a great way to develop skills and gain work experience for their job in the future. Overall, I firmly believe that this action has more advantages than disadvantages in their life.

The affordability of higher tertiary degrees has emerged as one of the topics of interest in  society, especially when tuition fees are inexorably increasing. People believe that the government are responsible for the budget of the entire undergraduate level, regardless of students’ financial background. I personally hold an opposing opinion about this matter. This essay will provide further explanation as to why the government should not apply the free-of-charge college policy.

First and foremost, it is understandable why people advocate the idea that the government should abolish college tuition fees for all students. Firstly, this policy allows everyone to pursue higher education levels, those who equip themselves with a degree will stand a chance for  employment than those who do not. It is especially meaningful for underprivileged freshmen and their families. The regime is expected to relieve less well-off parents’ financial burden for their kids' pursuit of educational enrichment and create a better future for these families. Other than that, the elimination tuition fee policy creates a huge skilled human capital to bring to the workforce, which people trust  will empower the country’s competence and attractiveness, it is  imperative for a developing country to foster Foreign direct investment. The belief is that the policy will ultimately develop the nation’s socio-economic landscape.

However, there are certain pronounced drawbacks if the regulators implement the free tuition fees regime. On the individual level, the scholars may lose their dedication and concentration in studying if they have no responsibility for discipline fees. An inevitable consequence is that academic performance as a whole will be deteriorated. On the societal level, it will put a financial strain on the government’s coffers, leading to budget deficits, tax hikes, and reduced welfare  among others and more crucial when it may have a negative effect on the nation’s long-term growth and sustainability strategies such as public infrastructures and transportations, or green development.

In conclusion, when there are  several advantages to the abolition of tuition fees , its disadvantages far surpass them. Therefore, the government should not waive tertiary tuition fees.

There has been an ongoing debate about animal testing. Some believe that all experimentation on animals is disagreeable and should be made illegal, while others think that they are necessary for crucial scientific discoveries. In my opinion, this should not be justified, because not only does it cause suffering to the creatures, but it is very costly and scientifically unreliable

On the one hand, some claim that it is vital to the development of science and the creation of human treatment. They believe that drugs should be tested on animals for safety before letting it be exposed to human usage. The creatures can provide the possible harms or benefits of a drug. They also assert that without running animal experiments, ensuring the safe use of medicine for all humans would be nearly impossible.

On the other hand, not only does this method go against ethics, but it is also extremely expensive and scientifically inaccurate. Animals have rights as well, and they should not be subjected to unpleasant and possibly deadly experiments that humans conduct. In addition, this process is costly but is not accurate, since humans and animals have different physiology. Some things might be detrimental to a person's body, but not to a creature. Furthermore, there are alternative ways to test medicine, such as tube testing or computer modelling. These methods should be conducted more to maintain morally correct practices as well as run more reliable tests.

To conclude, the use of animal testing is unjustifiable because it is immoral, high-priced, and not trustworthy for drug experimenting.

The diagrams compare single and twin rooms at an Australian university. Overall, the latter room type is better equipped and has larger areas compared to the former; however, this comes at the expense of higher rent.

Differences can be seen in the expenses and measurements of the two room types. Students in twin rooms pay $350 per week, $150 more than those in single rooms. Although rooms designed for one and two students share the same 6m length, their widths differ, with single rooms at 2.5m and twin rooms at 4m.

On the left side of both room types, there is one bathroom and various amenities, including a sink, stove, and microwave. Only two-person rooms feature a dining set opposite a television, catering for entertainment during meals. Adjacent to this set are two cupboards that divide twin rooms into two sections, each with a bed and a study desk. In contrast, on the right side of the one-person room, there is only a study desk and a bed, accompanied by a TV.
