OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:
The Head of Brand Marketing and Community Engagement at August Berg will spearhead our marketing initiatives, emphasizing community growth and engagement, CRM strategy, and holistic brand stewardship. This role demands a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, focusing on expanding our community to 100,000 members in 2024, and effectively managing a 1 million SGD budget for email marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. CRM and Community Expansion Leadership:
Tasked with the strategic development and execution of a comprehensive CRM plan, this role is pivotal in growing the August Berg community to an ambitious target of 100,000 members by the end of 2024.
In partnership with a specialized external email marketing agency, this position holds the key responsibility for reaching and surpassing a sales goal of 1 million SGD for the year 2024, utilizing strategic, efficient, and impactful resource allocation to foster significant community engagement and expansion.
2. Brand Strategy and Execution:
Direct and implement global marketing strategies, integrating both digital and traditional platforms to maintain and amplify the brand's unique DNA.
Coordinate closely with the Chief Creative Officer and Ecommerce team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials and channels.
3. Retail and Trade Marketing Oversight:
Build and nurture relationships with distributors and retailers, leveraging both online and offline channels for optimal brand presence and sales.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Foster strong relationships across various departments to align marketing strategies and ensure cohesive brand representation.
Lead the coordination of seasonal and essential marketing calendars, maintaining consistent communication across digital and traditional channels
5. Digital Transformation Leadership:
Guide the brand's digital transformation across all markets, focusing on data-driven strategies, including programmatic marketing and social media.
Drive advancements in technology utilization to enhance global market productivity and alignment with brand strategies.
6. Marketing Analytics and Consumer Insights:
Utilize analytics to drive customer segmentation and personalization strategies, sharing insights to inform broader marketing initiatives.
7. Innovative Marketing Solutions:
Continually explore and implement innovative marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and brand performance.
8. Trade Marketing Expertise:
Experience in trade marketing will be highly valued, contributing to enhanced in-store brand visibility and promotional strategies

Proven experience in a senior managerial role within the watch or luxury goods industry.
Proficiency in English; experience in fashion or similar industries preferred.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
