I. PRIMARY OBJECTS:
- The Deputy MKT Manager - Events is object to execute & evaluate events & promotions at Crescent Mall.
- The Deputy MKT Manager - Events coordinates all details of the event to ensure the event runs smoothly & successfully.
- The Deputy MKT Manager - Events can expect to project manage a broad range of events at Crescent Mall.
- The Deputy MKT Manager - Events will take events from concept through to execution & evaluation.
- Part of a strong marketing team within a dynamic office environment, this role is crucial in the success of the diverse marketing activities of the shopping center, and will represent an integral element in the future growth of Crescent Mall.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with clients, retailers and organizations to book & oversee the various events & promotions at Crescent Mall.
- Ensure lead times are adequate for planning & production to ensure event/promotion will be held on time in an effective manner.
- Arrange supplies such as staging, lighting, sound, audio-visual, seating, food & beverage, event promotional collateral, appropriate decor to meet the expectations of the Shopping Centre
- Arrange promotional staff & appropriate uniforms if required
- Review plans with relevant parties such as Operations & Engineering to ensure adequate cleaning / security, adequate power & supervision of installation and removal of all staging and materials.
- Oversee the smooth operation of events & promotions, handling any unexpected challenges that may arise in a professional manner.
- Ensure full details of each promotion/event have been forwarded to the relevant local authority for approval / licensing & liaise with such local authorities
- Research & evaluate potential new events & activities for the Mall
- Ensure detailed schedule of events is produced & delivered to all relevant parties.
- Ensure adequate numbers of staff are utilized for the event, scheduling different duties to staff according to their expertise, while ensuring that all relevant staff, including ancillary staff such as Customer Service Assistants and Cashiers, are comprehensively briefed on the event.
- Participate in the creation & maintenance of a favorable image for Crescent Mall on behalf of the Landlord and Savills, promoting The Crescent, and Crescent Mall as Ho Chi Minh City’s premier shopping & leisure destination.
- Contribute to building a positive team environment.

- Fluent in both spoken & written English & Vietnamese
- Minimum 3 years of Event Marketing experience in a similar position
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, hospitality management or event management
- Ability to work effectively with promoters, sponsors, event planners, agencies, retailers, group representatives and the general public.
- Skilled in Event Management with a comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles and techniques
- Competent in dealing with difficult people
- Capable of writing reports, procedures and business correspondence
- Proficient on software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Mail Merge
