Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ECU Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans to ensure the highest quality of electronic control unit (ECU) software. This role involves close collaboration with software developers, system engineers, and project managers to deliver robust and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ECU software.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of ECU software.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using established processes and tools.
• Collaborate with software development teams to understand software functionality and design effective test strategies.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in software design reviews and provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the testing process.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• JLPT N2 - N1
• Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Strong understanding of ECU software and its applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or similar.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and other automotive communication protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR).
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
