Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the Study Abroad Counseling team, providing support, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the counseling services.
Set and monitor department goals and objectives in alignment with the organization's mission.
Student Counseling:
Oversee the provision of comprehensive counseling services to students interested in studying abroad.
Ensure that students receive accurate and up-to-date information on international education opportunities, application processes, and visa requirements.
Assist students in identifying programs and institutions that align with their academic and career goals.
Program Development:
Develop and maintain partnerships with international educational institutions.
Organize and participate in study abroad fairs, workshops, and informational sessions.
Stay informed about trends and changes in international education to continually improve counseling services.
Team Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions for the counseling team to keep them updated on the latest developments in international education.
Encourage professional development and continuous learning among team members.
Administrative Duties:
Oversee the maintenance of accurate records and documentation for all counseling activities.
Prepare regular reports on department performance and student outcomes for senior management.
Manage the department's budget and resources efficiently.Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in educational counseling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of international education systems and study abroad programs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and counseling softwareWorking in an international environment
