Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) is a global leader offering naturally good food & beverage ingredients and solutions. ofi commenced operations in Vietnam in 1997, setting up its representative office. Since then, we have established an extensive presence across different parts of Vietnam, including our head office in Ho Chi Minh City and regional offices in Binh Dinh, Long An, Dong Nai, Phu Yen, Lamdong and Gia Lai Provinces.
ofi Vietnam is currently the largest exporter of Cashews, Pepper & Instant Coffee in Vietnam, investing in the state-of-the-art instant coffee facility and running 7 large factories with 7,500 employees across Central & South Vietnam. Our operations have an interface with a farmer network of 2 million farmers. We are also amongst the largest exporter of Green Coffee in Vietnam.
We have established sustainability programmers for black pepper, coffee & cashew. We are excited about our future prospects in Vietnam as the country has huge potential in agriculture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage packaging development timeline, and to ensure the packaging items are developed in time before the product "Buy-ready".
Implementing of works related to techniques, product standards.
Providing technical support on quality issues in the responsible category.
Monitor status of existing and new regulations/legislations, provide regulatory guidance and communicate regulatory progress to the related teams.
Update and maintain the packaging specification database.
Follow up and co-ordinate with other departments for packaging related issues such as new product development to ensure that the quality and timeline of packaging is suitable for new products.
Test and qualify new packaging suppliers as well as alternative packaging materials.
Issue packaging specification to related department.
Support QA and Production team in solving Packaging material problem.
Work with the factories to implement all assigned tasks.
Own and maintain packaging instructions of all products.
Support factories to ensure strict compliance following shipping instructions

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
At least 01 years experience in R&D Packaging, printing field or related fields
Can work under a high-pressure environment
Good at working in team and independent as well
Leadership skill, presentation skill. Good command of English
