We are currently re-architecting our systems on modern cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. In parallel, we are expanding our capabilities in automation and data visualization using the Microsoft Power Platform.
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for our systems, and Power Platform solutions using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Cloud Infrastructure Support: Deploy, configure, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, focusing on security, cost-efficiency, and high availability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proactively implement and maintain infrastructure using IaC principles and tools like Terraform, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Power Platform Operations: Collaborate with developers and business analysts to manage environments, data gateways, and deployment processes for applications and automations built on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish and refine monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana). Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation across all operational areas. Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to improve system reliability and team efficiency.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and project managers. Contribute to creating and maintaining clear technical documentation.
- Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Serve as a key technical contact for development teams. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on DevOps best practices.Must-Haves:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- More than 3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or System Engineer.
- Solid understanding of OS fundamentals (Linux and/or Windows Server) and computer networking concepts (e.g, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
- Proven experience in managing and deploying resources on cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and version control using Git.
- Proficient scripting skills in at least one language, preferably PowerShell or Python.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and networking principles.
- Strong logical thinking, a passion for learning, and a proactive attitude toward new technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and solve complex problems.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills in English.
Strongly Preferred:
- Practical experience with or deep understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a major advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines).
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible or Azure Bicep/ARM.
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS, GKE).
- Advanced knowledge of database management and optimization (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL).
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)).
