We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Solution Engineering team in Vietnam. In this role, you will contribute to complex projects, provide technical leadership, and support the team&039;s growth. You should have a strong grasp of front- end engineering principles, best practices, and modern frameworks.
You will work closely with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Implementation Consultants to define technical solutions, ensure smooth project execution, and uphold high- quality standards. A successful candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and capable of mentoring junior engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical & Development Duties

Apply unit testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest) to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
Develop and maintain high- quality, production- ready front- end code that is testable, scalable, and easy to understand.
Collaborate with back- end engineers to integrate APIs and optimize performance.
Design and implement efficient UI solutions using React.js (experience with Vue.js or Angular is a plus).
Improve the team’s ability to deliver high- quality code through code reviews and pair programming.
Stay updated with the latest Skedulo technologies and share knowledge with the team.
Contribute to and maintain technical documentation, including technical designs and implementation guides.

Project & Collaboration Duties

Identify and escalate technical or delivery blockers while collaborating with Project Managers and Engineering Managers.
Support Implementation Consultants with technical breakdowns, sequencing, and estimation.
Define and discuss non- functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, robustness) with the Engineering Manager.
Work on high- complexity, large- scale, or strategic projects that require deep technical expertise.
Ensure timely delivery and maintain high- quality standards in internal and customer projects.
Communicate effectively within the team in both written and verbal English.
Understand high- level project requirements and provide technical solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ensuring effective collaboration and clarity.
A minimum of 4+ years of hands- on experience in modern web development.
Familiarity with backend development and its integration with front- end systems.
Proficient in using unit testing frameworks, with preference for tools such as Mocha or Jest.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Deep familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack and Vite, ensuring efficient development processes.
Knowledge of additional front- end frameworks like VueJS and AngularJS is considered an advantage.
Hands- on experience with common cross- functional tools, including JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Yarn, and NPM.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automation to enhance development and deployment workflows.
Extensive expertise in ReactJS, with the ability to build dynamic and efficient user interfaces.
Proficient in working with GraphQL for data querying and manipulation.
Prior experience collaborating in global, multicultural teams is a valuable asset.
Proven experience in integrating and applying AI technologies to enhance daily workflows.
