Mô Tả Công Việc
• Continuous maintenance and deepening of knowledge about the sourcing markets in South-East Asia (key players, factor costs, economic and political framework conditions, technical progress, etc.)
• Search and initial assessment of new suppliers as well as regular supplier evaluation
o Ensure a professional search by more junior team members
o Monitor supplier onboarding to our Vendor Management System (VMS)
o Provide a sound technical assessment of factories according to our SEA standard
• Realization of new product developments as the responsible project buyer
o Ensure process compliance within the development team (e.g., briefing of suppliers, development of product specifications in cooperation with product management and quality assurance, support of initial sample release, etc.)
o Actively pursue cost reduction measures (design-to-cost, change of specifications, etc.)
• Management of tenders and bid comparisons, including cost breakdown analyses
• Negotiation of prices and contract terms
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, acting as their key contact within the ZWILLING Group
• Drive improvement measures with suppliers (e.g., from quality complaints, 8D reports, audits, sustainability requirements, new legal requirements)
o Negotiate and agree action plans
o Follow up
o Proper documentation in VMS
• Provide guidance and support to new / more junior team members
• Participate in internal projects

• Successfully completed bachelor's degree in relevant commercial or technical fields
• Professional experience of more than 4 years as a buyer – preferred in internationally operating companies
• Entrepreneurial thinking, used to taking initiative in a team
• Convincing, superior communication and negotiation skills, using a wide variety of approaches
• Ability to express own arguments in a logical, well-structured way
• Maintains a sovereign and confident appearance even under pressure
• Strong ability to think analytically
• Well-organized working style, good sense for accuracy
• Sound technical understanding of production processes, QM methods, product construction, materials, etc.
• Solid command of Microsoft Office (advanced skills in Excel), interest to acquire knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Desire to learn and develop own skills set further, being open for new tasks and challenges
• Good teamwork skills, willingness to support team members
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Professional experience of more than 4 years as a buyer – preferred in internationally operating companies
