** Position Statement:
This role will primarily focus on supporting the Purchasing Manager in selecting cost-effective services while ensuring high-quality delivery. In addition, this position will involve actively supporting corporate social responsibility activities. The key responsibilities of this role will include managing the service partner database, coordinating contract negotiations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the purchasing function.
** KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the Purchasing Manager in identifying and assessing potential service providers based on cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and delivery capabilities.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and service level agreements with suppliers.
• Maintain and update the service partner database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supplier information, pricing details, Purchase Request/ Purchase Orders on Oracle.
• Regularly evaluate service partner performance through feedback, metrics, and on-site visits to ensure service delivery is meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Support the development and implementation of CSR initiatives by identifying and engaging with suppliers who demonstrate commitment to ethical practices, sustainability, and social responsibility.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to resolve any invoicing or payment issues, ensuring compliance with contract terms. Responsible for receipt accounting in Oracle Procurement.
• Manage and monitor all contractual obligations, expiration dates, and renewal notifications to proactively address any potential risks or gaps.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance departments to ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Update CSR database including natural resource consumption, vehicle fuel efficiency.
• Completion of any tasks that may be required by the company from time to time

• Proven experience in procurement, accounting, with a strong understanding of cost-effective service selection and quality management.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate service providers against performance metrics and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for managing databases, contracts, and supplier information (WORD, EXCEL, ORACLE SYSTEM)
• Familiarity with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices and sustainability initiatives.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
** Qualifications
• College Degree or Higher Diploma in ACCOUNTING/ SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT or similar.
• At least 2 years’ experience in ACCOUNTING/ PURCHASING position.
• Excellent in Word, Excel. Oracle experience is preferred.
• Good command of English (Oral & Written)
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Experience in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibilities)
