Position Overview: We are hiring a capable and detail-oriented PV Project Engineering Manager to join our development team and support the execution of utility-scale solar (and storage) projects in Vietnam. This role focuses on the Ready-to-Build (RTB) stage and requires direct experience in system design, technical permitting, and government coordination. Candidates must be fluent in Chinese or English and familiar with Vietnam’s project approval procedures, including for energy storage systems (ESS).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & System Design Coordination Lead technical inputs for PV plant layout, equipment configuration, grid connection schemes, and storage integration plans Review and coordinate feasibility study reports, basic design drawings, and construction-level engineering packages Ensure all technical designs are aligned with Vietnamese regulations and internal standards Liaise with design institutes and consultants for revisions, clarifications, and compliance 2. RTB & Government Approval Support Manage technical documentation required for project permitting, including: Environmental impact assessment (EIA) Fire protection review Water resource assessment Grid connection agreements Energy storage approvals (if applicable) Coordinate with local DOIT, EVN, DARD, and related government agencies for site visits and document approvals Track progress of each permit and ensure all RTB-related technical conditions are met before EPC commencement

3. Internal/External Communication & Reporting Serve as the technical bridge between local development teams and the head office Support commercial, legal, and investment teams with technical input and risk identification Prepare structured progress reports and flag critical issues affecting RTB timelines

Required Qualifications: Vietnamese nationality, aged 25–35 preferred Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field Fluent in Chinese or English (required) – must be able to attend meetings and write technical reports in either language At least 2 years of experience in PV system design and technical project development Solid understanding of solar PV system architecture, equipment (inverter, transformer, SCADA), and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) integration Familiar with Vietnam’s technical permitting procedures, including documentation and process for EIA, fire, grid, storage, etc.

Proficient in reviewing AutoCAD drawings, SLDs, and technical proposals Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills
