Hoiio is looking for software engineers to join us on our journey to build a next level communication platform.

We provide mission critical software services. Our customers are fully dependent on us for their daily operations. Your work as a Software Engineer in our Infrastructure team is to ensure maximum system uptime and deliver constant product innovations.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable new features for our software product that exceeds our customer's needs on our Voice and Video platform running on top of state-of-the-art open sources
• Obtain requirement feedback from internal teams/clients to maintain/support product development.
• Develop, test and deploy spam/scam detection, security enhancements for communication systems
• Design, implement and monitor scalability, redundancy, quality of service
• R&D on state of the art communication protocols and technologies
• Our stack runs on Python/Java/MySQL/Redis but we appreciate all technologies and prefer efficiency/proficiency over language/technology constraints.

• Degree/Diploma holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant disciplines.
• A solid fundamental understanding of software development.
• An understanding of complex algorithms and data structures, as well as a passion for intellectual challenges.
• Working knowledge of Network and Internet protocols
• 1+ years of experience in Software development (JAVA/Python/C++/Golang,...).
• Freshers are welcome to apply
• Good Conversational and Written English.
• Open to discussion and constructive debate.
• Experience developing audio/video communication systems appreciated but not mandatory
• Experience with SIP protocol is welcomed.
• Experience with VoIP software (Kamailio, Asterisk, Freeswitch,..) is welcomed.
• Experience with the database management tool SQL is a plus, but not mandatory.
