MaruAI Applications Development: We are building next-generation Android TV applications that redefine user interaction through AI-powered experiences. Our focus is on creating intelligent, gesture-based apps for set-top boxes (STBs) equipped with cameras and microphones, covering domains such as health-care, game and entertainment.

General Description

- Join an international development team creating AI solutions using the latest technology.

- Involving in developing AI solutions for Android TV, mobile phones, and web platforms, integrated with hardware.

- Research cutting-edge AI technologies, particularly in the field of AI vision.

- Collaborate with the development team to deliver valuable, commercial products to end-users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Design and develop Android TV applications for STBs with camera and microphone integration.

- Build real-time gesture recognition systems (e.g., hand and body movement) using computer vision techniques.

- Collaborate with product and design teams to define interactive user experiences.

- Optimize AI/ML models for performance on embedded or edge devices.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth experience for enduser.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, computer vision, and Android frameworks.

Job Requirements

3.1. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

3.2. Work Experience

- Strong knowledge and experience of computer vision and deep learning frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, MediaPipe).

- Familiarity with model deployment on mobile or edge devices (TFLite, NNAPI, etc.).

- Experience working with camera APIs and real-time video processing.

- Participating in all works in the software development process, including requirements inquiry, analysis, design, and research of new technology ...

- Keen on learning new tech stacks and frameworks

- Big plus points if you have knowledge:

• Experience with body pose estimation, hand tracking, or gesture control systems.

• AI on web (Javascript/Typescript) app

• AndroidTV apps/platform experience

3.3. Knowledge

- [Essential] Know how to write clean, efficient, reusable code

- [Essential] Process of Code Versioning (GIT)

- [Preference] Have strong interest and deep understanding in AI domain.

- [Preference] Understanding of software development process and design.

- [Preference] Knowledge of Agile Scrum development process is a plus

3.4. Skills and attitude

- Good Written English skill, Verbal English Communication is a big plus

- Good problem-solving skills, thorough, sincere, responsible, understanding mindset

- Logical thinking required as an engineer.

- Experience working independently and as part of a team. Active communication internally and externally

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software, or equivalent.
