The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department to a high standard of cleanliness, observing all guidelines regarding standards while assuring the highest degree of quality service. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing all department staffs.

Responsibilities

•  Manage the daily activities of the housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all apartments, public areas and offices.

• To monitor, check and maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of our residence on a daily basis.

• Purchase, order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.

• Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members. 

• Manage the housekeeping budget, control the holidays and staff duty roster.

• Maintain a cost control system for supplies, linen and cleaning supplies for efficient operation of the housekeeping department.

• To maintain a professional and helpful attitude whilst on duty towards guests, tenants, visitors and colleagues.

Qualifications

Good organizational and administration skills.

Understanding of the SMILE FO system or familiar with PMS system and inventory management.

Good English level, capable of communicating fluently with our tenants.

Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

Minimum of five years’ experience in the relevant position.
