JOB DESCRIPTION

● Responsible for executing import and export operations for freight forwarding, including booking, loading, trucking, customs declaration, and preparing various foreign trade documents;

● Follow up with freight forwarders and arrange reasonable shipment schedules based on needs; handle matters related to shipments from dispatch to pickup and other tasks assigned by superiors;

● Track the transit status of each shipment, communicate promptly with the business team, and resolve related issues;

● Collect and organize freight rates from various ocean freight agents, establish, update, and maintain a pricing database to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of rate information;

● Review the qualifications of new ocean freight agents, managing risks;

● Negotiate freight rates with ocean freight agents to secure more favorable pricing conditions and reduce company costs;

● Maintain good relationships with ocean freight agents, establishing long-term stable partnerships to ensure smooth communication and information symmetry;

● Monitor market freight rate trends, analyze price fluctuations, forecast future rate trends, and provide data support for the company to develop and adjust pricing strategies;

● Maintain close communication with performance-driven departments to understand business needs and provide pricing support;

● Actively cooperate in completing other tasks assigned by superiors, maintain close communication with team members, and jointly promote departmental development;

● Managing the team of employees and business development: Recruit, train, and manage the operational staff. Evaluate employee performance and implement motivational measures, rewards, or improvements;

● Organize and file documents and other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

● College diploma (or above), preferably in international trade, foreign trade English, logistics, or related fields;

● Previous experience in a freight forwarding company;

● Some experience in ocean freight rate management, with basic knowledge of shipping routes;

● Familiar with basic office software operations and able to read English emails;

● Quick-thinking, adaptable, detail-oriented, with a strong customer service mindset and excellent interpersonal communication skills;

● Proficient in computer operations, meticulous, patient, and highly responsible;

● English level B or above;

● Detail-oriented, patient, highly responsible, diligent, innovative, proactive, able to work under pressure, and a strong team player.
