We are looking for a talented and experienced Power BI developer to join our global AI, Data & Analytics team and help deliver insights and solutions. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting BI solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various teams and departments to gather requirements, design data models, build visualizations, deliver dashboards and reports.

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to gather and understand their data and reporting needs
• Document and communicate data definitions, business rules, and best practices
• Design and develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Databricks
• Create efficient data models in Power BI using DAX calculations and Power M
• Publish and share dashboards and reports to workspaces and apps
• Optimize data models and reports for performance and usability
• Implement row-level security on data and ensure data integrity
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by validating and testing data sources, queries, and calculations
• Provide support and training to end users on Power BI features and functionalities
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Power BI and other BI technologies and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or more than 2 years of related experience
• Ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Proven experience as a Power BI developer in a Premium Capacity using a variety of data sources
• Proficient in Power BI, DAX, Power M language, and data modeling techniques
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Preferred:

• Certification in Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Experience in other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or SSRS
• Experience in data warehousing, ETL, or data integration
• Knowledge of data analysis and statistics
• Experience in agile or scrum methodologies

Soft skills

• Strong communication skills, ability to clearly communicate well in both written and spoken English.
• Japanese language is a plus but not mandatory
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and willing to take challenges
• Willing to work in different time zones when needed as many of our colleagues and business users are in different offices in the world
