Job Summary 

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building and managing robust IT infrastructure systems to support the development, training, and deployment of advanced humanoid robotic platforms. This includes everything from high-performance workstations and servers for AI model training, to stable wireless networks and server systems for field-deployed robots. You will work closely with software and hardware engineering teams to ensure a high-performance, scalable, and secure infrastructure both in R&D labs and real-world operating environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. R&D & Internal Lab Support 

• Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including workstations, servers (on-prem and cloud), and high-speed networks to support AI training and humanoid robot research. 
• Ensure reliable connectivity for development teams through optimized internal Wi-Fi, routing, and access point planning. 
• Set up and manage high-performance computing systems (GPU/TPU servers) for AI workloads. 

2. Deployment Infrastructure Planning 

• Analyze and calculate system requirements for product deployment: server loads, bandwidth usage, number and placement of access points, and system uptime targets. 
• Design robust IT systems to support real-time robot operation in deployment sites (e.g., warehouses, factories, public spaces). 
• Provide technical evaluation and planning for hardware/network scalability as robot fleets grow. 

3. System Operations & Maintenance 

• Monitor network and server health, performance, and security using appropriate tools (Zabbix, Nagios, etc.). 
• Automate regular maintenance and backup processes. 
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime. 

4. Collaboration & Documentation 

• Work closely with integration and software teams to align infrastructure needs with product goals. 
• Maintain clear documentation for system architecture, configurations, and disaster recovery plans.
