About Us: VinMotion is at the forefront of robotics innovation, developing advanced humanoid robots for various applications. We are looking for a highly skilled Robotics Manipulation Engineer specializing in robotic arm control and advanced trajectory planning to enhance our humanoid robot capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement advanced trajectory planning algorithms for robotic arms using state-of-the-art methods

· Develop and integrate imitation learning techniques to achieve smooth, natural robot arm movements

· Research and apply modern motion planning approaches including neural motion planning, sampling-based methods, and optimization-based techniques

· Implement inverse kinematics, forward kinematics, and dynamics control for multi-DOF robotic arms

· Design and integrate wrist pitch joints and gripper systems for enhanced manipulation capabilities

· Develop force/torque control algorithms for delicate manipulation tasks

· Work with simulation environments (Gazebo, MuJoCo, IsaacGym) to test arm manipulation algorithms

· Collaborate with hardware teams to deploy manipulation algorithms on real humanoid robot systems

· Research and implement collision avoidance and path optimization for complex manipulation tasks

Requirements:

· Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Control Engineering, or related fields

· 2+ years hands-on experience with robotic arm programming and control

· Proficient in C++ and Python programming, with experience in ROS/ROS2

· Strong understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, and trajectory planning

· Experience with various motion planning frameworks and libraries

· Knowledge of machine learning for robotics, particularly imitation learning

· Solid understanding of optimization algorithms and control theory

· Mandatory: Experience deploying algorithms on physical robotic arms

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with industrial robot arms (UR, ABB, KUKA, Fanuc) or research platforms

· Knowledge of imitation learning, learning from demonstration, or behavioral cloning

· Experience with motion planning libraries (OMPL, Drake, Pinocchio, CasADi)

· Familiarity with computer vision for manipulation tasks

· Experience with gripper control and force-sensitive manipulation

· Publications or projects in robotics manipulation
