Part 2

Describe a time you made a decision to wait for something

You should say:

  • When it happened
  • What you waited for
  • Why you made the decision to wait

And explain how you felt about the decision

Part 3:

  • Why do some people like a slow-paced life?
  • What is making life in cities more and more fast-paced?
  • Is being patient good for people?
  • Do you think people are less patient now than they were in the past?

Part 2

Describe a time when you needed to search for information. You should say:

  • What information you needed to search for
  • When you searched for it
  • Where you searched for it

And explain why you needed to search for it

Part 3:

  • How can people search for information now?
  • What information can people get from television?
  • Do you think libraries are still important in the digital age?
  • Does the development of the Internet have any impact on disadvantaged people?

Part 2

Describe a time when you saw a lot of plastic waste (e.g in a park, on the beach etc.) You should say:

  • Where are when you saw the plastic waste
  • Why there were a lot of plastic waste
  • What you did after you saw them

And explain what your thoughts were about this

Part 3:

  • What are the benefits of using plastic products?
  • How can people reduce their use of plastic?
  • What kind of plastic waste is often seen in Vietnam?
  • What are the problems when there is too much plastic waste?
Describe an item

Part 2

Describe something you had to share with others. You should say:

  • What it was
  • Who you shared it with
  • Why you had to share it with others

And explain how you felt about it

Part 3:

  • Do children like to share?
  • How can parents teach their children to share?
  • What are the benefits of sharing for children?
  • Is there anything that parents would persuade children to share with others?

Part 2

Describe an object that you think is beautiful. You should say:

  • What it is
  • Where you saw it
  • What it looks like

And explain why you think it is beautiful

Part 3:

  • Do you think there are more beautiful things now than in the past?
  • What beautiful scenery spots are there in your country?
  • Where do you think people usually come into contact with beautiful things?
  • Why do you think people create beautiful things?

Part 2

Describe a photo you took that you are proud of. You should say:

  • When you took it
  • Where you took it
  • What is in this photo

And explain why you are proud of it

Part 3:

  • Why do some people like to record important things with photos?
  • Is taking photos the best way to remember something?
  • What can people learn from historical photographs?
  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of taking photos with mobile phones?
Describe a person

Part 2

Describe a friend from your childhood. You should say:

  • Who he/she is
  • Where and how you met each other
  • What you often did together

And explain what made you like him/her

Part 3:

  • Which one is more important, old friendships or new ones?
  • How important is childhood friendship to children?
  • Do you think the development of social media affects friendships nowadays?
  • Do you think social media will replace face-to-face communication?

Part 3

Describe a person you know who is from a different culture. You should say:

  • Who he/she is
  • Where he/she is from
  • How you knew him/her

And explain how you feel about him/her

Part 3:

  • Where do people usually meet people from a different culture?
  • Is it important to know the differences between cultures?
  • Do you think travellers should learn about the country they visit before their trip?
  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of cultural diversity?

Part 2

Describe a person who inspired you to do something interesting. You should say:

  • Who he/she is
  • How you knew him/her
  • What interesting thing you did

And explain how he/she inspired you to do it

 

Kinh nghiệm tự luyện đề thi IELTS Speaking Forecast

1. Thời gian

  • Band 0-4.0: Trung bình muốn đạt band điểm này bạn cần học 80-100 giờ. Tính tổng cả thời gian bạn tự học và học có giáo viên hướng dẫn. Do đó, hãy phân bổ thời gian hợp lý trong khoảng 2 tháng, chính xác hơn mỗi ngày dành ra ít nhất 2 tiếng để luyện.
  • Band 5.0-6.5: Để nắm chắc trong tay band điểm này bạn cần bỏ ra 240-360 giờ. Do đó thời gian phù hợp nhất cho band này là 4-5 giờ mỗi ngày. Tóm lại bạn sẽ mất 1,5 -3,5 tháng để có thể vượt mốc band điểm này.

Để kết quả học có thể hiệu quả nhất, bên cạnh việc tự luyện bộ đề, tự học một mình hay học có giáo viên hướng dẫn. Thì bạn nên nghe nhạc, đọc báo, xem video, nghe podcasts,.. để có thể ngấm tiếng Anh dần dần. Đồng thời luyện tập đề IELTS Speaking Forecast nữa bạn nhé!

Khác với sách Cambridge, bộ sách này có rất nhiều chữ ở tất cả mọi kĩ năng chứ không phải mỗi IELTS Speaking. Mặc dù rất nhiều chữ, nhưng độ khó của bộ sách ở mức độ vừa phải. Thông qua các bộ đề được biên soạn trong sách, bạn có thể trau dồi được rất nhiều từ vựng mới lạ và hay ho. Một điểm khác nữa đó là IELTS Practice Test Plus 1,2,3 có độ khó như nhau, không phân cấp độ.

3. Những lưu ý trong quá trình tự luyện đề IELTS Speaking Forecast

Tăng cường luyện đề IELTS Speaking Forecast khi đã có bộ đề trong tay. 

  • Phần Part 1: Luyện tập trả lời bằng miệng to và thật rõ ràng khi luyện đề IELTS Speaking Forecast
  • Phần Part 2: Chuẩn bị sẵn sàng một tờ giấy, phía bên trên sẽ ghi rõ câu hỏi, phía bên dưới ghi rõ các ý chính cần nói và các cụm từ dễ ăn điểm. Bước tiếp theo hãy trả lời thành tiếng bằng miệng chứ đừng lẩm nhẩm trong đầu.
