Yes. I browse the Internet pretty much during the day, about 12 hours in total I think. Due to the nature of work, I have to be online most of the time, either to discuss with my colleagues or to search for extra materials. When I am not at work, I surf the Internet for entertainment purposes only. Deep down inside, I do know I may spend an excessive amount of time on it, but I can’t help myself.
As previously mentioned, what I do on the Internet completely depends on whether I am at work or not. In the workplace, my time for it will only be for meetings, discussions and academic tasks… However, as soon as I get back home, my online routine would be to scroll through all my social accounts and watch some random funny clips, which helps me unwind after a long day of hard work.
I am pretty active on social media, so social networking sites are my go-to website whenever I browse the Internet. I am not entirely a social butterfly/a gregarious individual, yet I love the feeling of being able to gossip with others or get in touch with them through their photos and sharings, even when I don’t have the chance to meet them very often.

Đề bài “Describe a website that you often use” của chủ đề Talk about the internet yêu cầu thí sinh miêu tả một trang web mà mình hay sử dụng, trong đó cần đưa ra các thông tin:
Describe a website that you often use của chủ đề Talk about the internet là một đề bài khá dễ hình dung, đặc biệt là cho các bạn trẻ bây giờ vì chúng ta đang sử dụng rất nhiều các trang web khác nhau, từ các trang mạng xã hội, tin tức đến các trang web giải trí như âm nhạc, phim ảnh.
Vậy nên, đối với câu hỏi đầu tiên “Đó là loại trang web gì?” thì chúng ta hoàn toàn có thể chọn những trang mạng xã hội mà ta dùng hàng ngày, ví dụ như Facebook, Instagram hoặc TikTok.
Tiếp đó, chúng ta cần nhắc đến việc “Bạn biết đến trang web đấy như thế nào?”. Ở câu hỏi này, chúng ta có thể nhắc đến khoảng thời gian nào mà chúng ta biết đến trang web đó, từ rất lâu trước đây (cấp 1, cấp 2,..) hay trong vài năm trở lại đây (khoảng thời gian dịch COVID bùng phát,…).
Với 2 câu hỏi tiếp theo liên quan đến việc “Trang web đó đã giúp bạn làm những gì?” và “Tại sao bạn lại thấy trang web đó hữu dụng?”, chúng ta hoàn toàn có thể lồng 2 câu hỏi này lại với nhau:

Well, I have to say that among all those frequently used social media platforms such as Instagram or most recently, Tiktok, I would simply choose to describe Facebook.
It goes without saying that Facebook is one of the biggest and the most widely used social media platforms, where millions of users can create their own account, comment, share photos, you name it. To the best of my recollection, I first used Facebook when I was an eighth-grader and the idea of creating an account on it was a literal trend among teenagers at the time.
Facebook undoubtedly brings people a myriad of benefits. It is such a powerful means of communication that it helps connect people from all over the world. Thanks to Facebook, I can keep in touch easily with my family and friends or even reconnect with my long-lost ones.
Moreover, using Facebook is a good way to stay updated with what’s going on around the world since news is ubiquitous here. Facebook also acts as a virtual space where people can voice their opinions conveniently and freely about a variety of topics.
The most profound benefit of Facebook that I love is that it is an extremely helpful studying tool. Facebook contains a reservoir of knowledge that could be found on self-study groups or educational forums, for example. This provides students like me with a wide range of resources that can be used for both our studies and comprehensive development.
All in all, I really enjoy surfing Facebook and my life would be tedious without it.
