1. Are you afraid of natural disasters?

Yeah, of course. Not just myself but also many individuals on Earth have a phobia for natural tragedies. These are extreme weather conditions that can inflict a lot of damage to persons and property on a huge scale.

2. Describe a natural disaster/an extreme weather condition that you will never forget.

Now, I would like to talk about the “historical flood” that happened in Hanoi a decade ago, 2008. Hanoians shall always remember this as the year.

It stands out since Hanoi’s many streets were submerged by the prolonged, intense rain that fell for several days straight. The rain was regarded as being the heaviest in the previous 100 years, which led to significant damage and suffering for many people. Since there was a record amount of precipitation, practically all activities were suspended to protect persons and property.

Several households even experienced flooding as a result of significant levels of water flying into their homes, according to statistics. To prevent any potential accidents that the heavy rain might cause, offices and educational institutions had to issue an emergency announcement asking their staff and students to stay at home. They had to wait until it stopped pouring, which caused a lot of disruption in daily life. Because of the huge mortality toll, chaotic traffic, and increased risk of hazardous illnesses, the rain caused problems for people in many other professions. Fortunately, after a few days, life started to return to normal owing to a united effort by the local government and numerous city residents.

Well, I believe that this is a problem that needs to be resolved before it is too late on a global scale. Undoubtedly, human actions like deforestation and excessive resource use have contributed to global warming. Furthermore, the main component contributing to the ozone hole is exhaust gases from factories or cars. Because of this, there are more natural calamities. Personally, I believe that in order to spare humanity from future catastrophic events, governments and citizens everywhere should take immediate action.

1. What is your favorite season?

My absolute favorite season is fall. Because of the low humidity, the cool weather makes me feel quite comfortable. Going for a stroll around the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area while taking in the breeze is one of my favorite feelings. It’s really amazing!

2. Describe a type of weather that you like the most.

Others may think I’m strange, but in all honesty, I actually prefer snowy weather to all other types. I was born in Vietnam, where snow is incredibly rare and only occurs in one or two northern highland provinces.

I like it because I want to play in and be surrounded by lovely white snowflakes. I’m as giddy as a clam just thinking about making a snowman or flinging snow at my friends. I often wish I could travel to some Western nations like the United States, Sweden, or England to experience the bitter cold and marvel at the snowfall, one of nature’s most fascinating phenomena.

Also, I enjoy winter since it allows me to wear my favorite warm clothing, such as a sweater, heavy coat, or boots. Even though I am aware that living in cold weather is difficult, occasionally I shiver from the chill yet I genuinely want to experience that feeling. Many people are now aware that some countries’ temperatures are rising as a result of global warming, which is causing less snow to fall. I have to go so I can enjoy the real snow!

Without a doubt, sure. People may feel motivated or in the mood to undertake specific tasks if the weather is nice. People may feel happier when it is cold or sunny outside; yet, if extremely unfavorable weather circumstances arise, such as intense heat or torrential rain, it is simple for people to feel down. Although the first snowfall may excite some people, dense blankets of snow combined with extreme cold can leave people depressed.
