Job Responsibilities

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Manage production line

To assist Plant Manager in production.
To manage and maintain the production dept.
To improve the management system at production dept.
Setting down production plan in agreement with Sales order, Process department.
Supervising production of plasterboard line.
Responsible for the safety of the operators
Training of operators
Cooperating with Quality Manager to assurance good quality
Work closely with different department to optimize production and efficiency
Assisting Plant Manager to control the production costs.
Achieving budget expectations for volume and price for all products
Operating within overhead budget control
Maintaining stable and well instructed team
Optimize Raw material consumption and daily monitoring of Raw material consumption.
Monitor daily production data waste analysis, Overall equipment efficiency
Plan to improve the performance in different parameters of Availability of equipment, Quality Factor.
Immediate decision making for any problems to guide and monitor as a leader for production team.
Meet the production demand as per planning requirement.

Manage people

Manage a team in different shift operation.
Recruitment and Training of new employee as and when required
Ensure discipline of people attendance for working and leave taking
Manage overtime within specified limit and target to reduce it.
Build and maintain good team work and industrial relationship.
Set up Goal and manage employees’ performance

Reporting

Analysis report of production performance and RM consumption
Production performance in term of cost, quality and delivery
Training and development status of team member.
Report any unsafe behaviors of employees or equipment and machinery

Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 year of experience working in plant environment and 3 year similar capacity as production manager.
Have experience in continuous production process, lean production
Be familiar with the industrial management and controlling of technological process of building materials.
Hard-working and work under pressure.
Team- work spirit.
Good command of English speaking and writing.
Professional for MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point…)
Good knowledge of problem solving technique and skill.
Knowledge of LEAN and Six sigma is desirable.
Comply with regulations and closely monitor the safety regulations of individuals, production staff and 3rd party at CT line.
Strictly supervise safety regulations for lifting equipment operation the production line as well as HSE requirement.
Coordinate with safety leader to control safety regulation for every single production position.
Knowledge of international quality standards (ISO, etc.)

Education requirements

University degree majored in building materials or chemical, Operation Management or Engineering Degree of any branch or equivalent (full-time)
