Job Summary
The Head of E-commerce & Marketing is responsible for driving brand growth, demand generation, and sell-through for Mom & Baby products in the Vietnam market. This role leads online marketing strategies while closely supporting offline distribution through retail stores and modern trade chains. The position ensures strong brand presence, effective consumer communication, and alignment between online marketing and in-store sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for Mom & Baby products in Vietnam
- Build brand awareness, trust, and preference among mothers and families
- Define brand positioning, key messages, and communication guidelines
- Plan and manage annual marketing calendars, product launches, and promotional campaigns
Digital & Online Marketing
- Lead all online marketing activities: social media, KOL/KOC, content, paid ads, SEO, and CRM
- Manage performance marketing budgets to drive lead generation and brand engagement
- Use online marketing to support offline sell-in and sell-out at stores and retail chains
- Oversee e-commerce channels (brand website, marketplaces if applicable) as supporting sales channels
Trade Marketing & Distribution Support
- Work closely with Sales and Distribution teams to support product listing, promotions, and sell-through in stores
- Develop trade marketing tools: POSM, in-store promotion concepts, sampling, and visibility programs
- Plan and execute integrated online-to-offline (O2O) campaigns to drive store traffic
- Support key retail partners and modern trade chains with marketing initiatives
Market Insight & Consumer Understanding
- Research Vietnam Mom & Baby market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior
- Translate consumer insights into effective marketing and communication strategies
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend counter-strategies
Data, Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Define and track KPIs for brand awareness, marketing effectiveness, and sales impact
- Analyze campaign performance and ROI (online engagement, leads, store sell-out)
- Prepare regular reports and strategic recommendations for management
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build, lead, and develop marketing and e-commerce teams
- Manage external agencies, KOLs, and marketing partners
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in marketing, preferably in FMCG, Mom & Baby, healthcare, or consumer goods
- Strong experience in online marketing and brand management in Vietnam
- Experience working with distributors, retail chains, or modern trade is highly preferred
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Fluent and professional English communication skills (both written and verbal)
