Main purpose of the position

The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tax compliance and controlling activities, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Tax & Internal Control. Tax Manager will work closely with other team members to deliver on their respective responsibilities.

Job responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all local tax returns and tax payment in accordance with tax laws

• Monitor and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position• Review complex transactions and documentations to ensure both tax and internal control purposes

• Being responsibile in fostering standardization and automation to improve tax efficiency

• Support Senior Manager to develop and execute the organization's tax strategy, provide regular updates, and escalate any significant tax-related matters

• Analyze tax related financial data, identify tax risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to the management

• Continuously monitor changes in tax legislation and industry best practices, and assess the impact on the organization then suggest action plan & follow up

• Support special projects and other works as requested by the Senior Manager

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• Minimum 10 years of experience in tax professions;

• Experience in FMCG industry is an advantage;

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to effectively present tax-related matters and make techincal recommendations to the Senior Manager, the management and other stakeholders

• Proficient in tax preparation software, spreadsheet applications, and other relevant technology

• Ability to work collaboratively

• Ability to frequently travel and work under pressure
