1. Job description: 

We seek a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), and Data Engineering to drive innovation in our mobile applications. Your primary focus will be on developing and deploying machine learning models, optimizing algorithms, and ensuring scalable ML solutions for game and mobile app applications.

2. Responsibilities:

2.1 Build & Maintain ML Systems

• Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and monitoring.
• Deploy and manage ML models in cloud or on-premises environments (any platform; experience with GCP is a plus).
• Integrate ML models into mobile applications and backend services using APIs or in-house frameworks.

2.2. Develop ML Solutions

• Research, train, and fine-tune supervised and unsupervised ML models for various applications:
• Predictive Analytics: Using complex models like Light GBM, Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) to provide predictions in various aspects of production and marketing,
• User Segmentation Systems: Enhance personalization in mobile apps.
• Fraud Detection & Anomaly Detection: Ensure data security and fair play.
• Optimize ML models for efficiency, ensuring low-latency inference and minimal resource consumption.

2.3 Optimize MLOps & ML Model Deployment

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML models, manage model and data versioning, and continuously monitor performance, automating retrain and model drift detection.
• Optimize ML workflows, ensuring cost-effective resource usage for complex models (GPU, TPU, cloud instances).
• Work closely with Product Managers, Game Developers, and App Developers to design ML-powered solutions for these teams and improve ML-driven features.
• Stay updated on technology and AI/ML trends to maintain a competitive edge in the global game/app market.

3. Skill and experience requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics–Informatics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning methods, as well as data structures and algorithms.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in AI/ML, proficiency with popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or equivalents. Familiarity with complex models like LightGBM, Neural Network and other ML techniques is a plus.
• Experience deploying AI models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure; GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, dstack), and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, model monitoring, and model version control & ability to optimize costs and resources (GPU, TPU) while ensuring the security and stability of AI systems.
• Capable of analyzing and proposing ML solutions that bring real impact to game/app products and internal processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and sufficient English for research papers & documentations.
• Willingness to experiment with new technologies, proactively learn, and creatively tackle complex challenges.
