Position Summary
The Senior Lecturer will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School. The incumbent is to make a significant contribution to the delivery of programs and to be actively involved in research, consulting and other professional activities. The Senior Lecturer will develop, engage in and lead high quality research projects that are aligned with the University’s research focus areas to achieve success in attracting research funding and to produce high quality outputs.
The Senior Lecturer will have an important research leadership role in embedding their research expertise into the life of the School and will be required to develop high-quality, productivity-driven networks across RMIT and with local, national and global, internal and external partners.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- PhD or equivalent relevant doctoral qualification from a recognised institution.
- The role requires a specific subject focus on advertising theory and practice including but not limited to: creative industries, digital advertising and marketing, strategic marketing, advertising campaign planning, digital marketing analytics, advertising theory informed by consumer psychology, and digital marketing practices
- Accredited postgraduate certification in teaching and learning and/or fellowship status with AdvanceHE is preferred

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 7.0 (academic, with no skill less than 6.5) (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).
For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
WORK PERMIT
As an expatriate candidate, you will require a work permit to work in Vietnam. To qualify for a work permit you will need (at minimum) a degree in a relevant field to the position and must be able to provide official written confirmation (statement of service) of at least 3 years’ related experience.

Lịch sử thành lập
- Cuộc kháng chiến chống thực dân Pháp thắng lợi, miền Bắc hoàn toàn giải phóng. Đảng và Nhà nước chủ trương xây dựng quân đội chính quy hiện đại. Để đáp ứng nhu cầu về trang phục quân đội, ngày 18 tháng 02 năm 1957, “Xưởng may đo hàng kỹ”, gọi tắt là X20 – tiền thân của Công ty 20 ra đời. Tháng 12 năm 1962, Tổng cục Hậu cần giao nhiệm vụ cho X20 theo quy chế Xí nghiệp Quốc phòng. Đến tháng 4 năm 1968, Tổng cục Hậu cần ra quyết định số 136/QĐ xếp hạng 5 công nghiệp nhẹ cho Xí nghiệp may 20.
- Ngày 12 tháng 02 năm 1992, Xí nghiệp may 20 được chuyển thành Công ty may 20. Tháng 7 năm 1996, Công ty may 20 thành lập Xí nghiệp Dệt kim, cuối năm 1997 thành lập Xí nghiệp Dệt vải. Ngày 17 tháng 3 năm 1998, Bộ trưởng Bộ Quốc phòng ban hành quyết định số 319/1998/QĐ-QP về việc đổi tên Công ty may 20 thành Công ty 20.
