Fonos is one of the fastest growing subscription apps in Vietnam. We are looking for a General Accountant with 3-5 years of experience in the accounting field. Priority is given to candidates who have worked in companies in the TECH and App fields or start-up companies. You have in-depth professional knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and International Accounting Standards (IAS). English is a must. Future promotion path to chief accountant. This position is responsible for supervising and performing key accounting functions, including accounting, financial reporting, tax management, and regulatory procedures.

Job description

1. Supervise and manage the Accounting team

• Plan, assign and evaluate team members' work performance.
• Ensure the team complies with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Train and develop skills for team members.

  2. Accounting for business transactions:

• Accurately and completely record all business transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
• Proficient in using accounting software and other support tools.
• Solve complex accounting problems effectively.

 3. Prepare financial reports:

• Prepare accurate and complete financial reports on a timely basis, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and statements of changes in equity.
• Analyze financial reports to provide detailed information about the company's financial situation and business operations to management.

  4. Tax management:

• Prepare and submit tax returns on time and accurately.
• Update tax law changes and ensure company compliance with tax regulations.
• Optimize the company's tax obligations.

 5. Compliance with regulations:

• Ensure company compliance with all accounting and tax related laws and regulations.
• Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes and make necessary adjustments to company processes and systems.
• Work with authorities when necessary.

  6.  Support other activities:

• Participate in the company's budgeting and planning process.
• Provide financial information to other departments in the company when necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Director.

• University graduate majoring in Accounting or related field.
• Experienced in proficiently using accounting software and other support tools (Advanced in accounting softwares (can use Misa, Xero is a plus+). 
• Have good analysis and problem solving ability.
• Have good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and in groups.
• Have a high sense of responsibility and good professional ethics.
