PURPOSE AND SCOPE

As a Frontend Developer, you will participate in all aspects of software development. You will help VELA's development teams successfully build digital logistics platform initiatives of varying sizes and complexities.

In this role, you will build frontend for our projects and participate in technology discussions to build top of class solutions.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Build solutions using frontend technologies

- Take functional requirements and turn them into recommendations on how to implement, use, and maintain websites

- Work in close collaboration with technology leads to identify and build the best possible solutions

- Assist in estimations as well as architecture definitions and documentation of new solutions

- Create documentation for the code and functionality you develop

- Follow and contribute to the VELA development standards and guidelines

- Ensure adherence to client security and compliance requirements.

- Identify and communicate potential risks and dependencies to project management.

- Propose initiatives to improve integration technologies and processes.

• QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  Computer Science Degree or qualifications in a related discipline

  2-3 years’ experience programming in the information technology field with experience related to this position’s role; or an appropriate combination of education and technology field related experience.
