Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Leader with expertise in backend development, particularly in Golang, to lead our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for building scalable and robust backend systems for our SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Set technical direction and standards for backend development, driving innovation and excellence in engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, frontend development, and quality assurance to define technical requirements and priorities.

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems using Golang, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, leveraging best practices in cloud-native architectures.
• Implement robust APIs and integrations to support seamless interaction between backend services and frontend applications.

Technical Strategy:

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for backend development, aligning with the overall product vision and business objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend development, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.

Team Collaboration:

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the backend engineering team and across other functional areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of hands-on experience in backend development, with a strong emphasis on NodeJS.
• Extensive experience leading and managing a team of backend engineers in an Agile environment.
• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
