JOB SUMMARY
The role of this position is to support the Prestige Development Manager in driving word of mouth and recommendation for PR brands, providing an aspirational user image for broader affluent groups.
The Private Customer Manager will support the development and implementation of the strategic road map for PRVNs long-term prestige portfolio and HNWI engagement program. On an ongoing basis they will forge direct relationships between our business and our key influencer target tribes amongst the High-Net-Worth community, to engage with our Prestige brands’ driving brand preference and advocacy.
They will liaise directly with HNWIs, inviting them to brand events, facilitating private at home events and experiences, providing access to limited release products, and opportunities for peronsalised product purchasing and gifting.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborate with the Prestige Brand Manager and Prestige Development Manager to align on the brand strategy & implementation plan for VIPs.
- Maintain one-to-one contact and correspondence with identified top consumers of prestige brands, building strong relationships.
- Populate and support Prestige Development Manager to manage a clearly segmented database based on individuals value to the business for example – influence, reach, connections, or end consumer target.
- Activate through consumer engagement experiences the database with targeted executions.
- Develop and manage the invitation lists for key events and liaise directly with target tribes in attending events.
- Working with the marketing team (PRVN, Market Company and HQ) and Prestige Development Manager identify appropriate partnerships with luxury brands that already have direct relationships with our target consumers as well as prestige non-traditional channels e.g., Wedding planners, luxury event planners, concierge networks, private yacht, and jet companies.
- Leverage existing networks to generate referral network extensions to our prestige brand target consumer
- Build collaboration network of other Private Customer Managers (Chanel, Gucci, Bank loyalty managers etc.) to leverage
- Attend prestige brand events – both those that are sponsored, but also to include networking opportunities within the target tribes to build network
- Leverage network to collect market intelligence and competitive information to continuously provide insightful recommendations
- Work closely with Prestige Brand Manager to Identify product limited editions and personalized product / gifting opportunity for key HNWI contacts.
- Support the development of internal network within Pernod Ricard and the individuals in other Regions and Market Companies who are dedicated to the Prestige / Luxury Commercial Teams to facilitate introductions and opportunities for the target end consumer when traveling.
- Work with brand team & Prestige Development Manager to develop tribal direction and strategy, supported by actionable sponsorship directions
- Works closely with the business development team to ensure key HNWI and or their business are being serviced
- Identify appropriate sponsorship events and work with the relevant teams to manage and deliver.
- Facilitate the introduction to Le Cercle private E-commerce network and work closely with E-commerce team to ensure smooth process.
- Monitor and control T&E spend to be in line with the agreed plans in cooperation with the Prestige Development Manager and finance team and assess ROI.
- Manage suppliers/vendors, PO, payments, sourcing, and utilisation of POS material.

- Good presentation, project planning as well as influencing and negotiation skills
- Energetic, entrepreneurial, confident, and proactive individual – able to identify new opportunities, to persuade others, and to get things done
Desired Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Master’s Degree would be a plus)
- Sales or relationship management experience within a luxury context
- Strong English language skills
