As a Head of Data, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's data strategy and ensuring the effective utilization of data resources. This multifaceted role is divided into three key scopes: Data Management & Modeling, Data Engineering & Governance, Data Operation and Analytics.

Scope 1: Data Management & Modeling
• Supervise data collection, storage, and retrieval processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and availability of data. This involves the creation and maintenance of data collection mechanisms from a diverse range of in-house developed and commercially available enterprise systems, as well as various cloud-based software-as-a-service applications. • Take the lead in designing the enterprise data model and data modeling to support the proliferation of data and insights across various business value chains within Masterise Group. These value chains encompass areas such as land and site research, deal formulation, real estate product design, construction excellence, vendor and sourcing, marketing and sales, lead conversion, sales performance, revenue collection, and financial data aggregation. • Assume responsibility for maintaining data integrity and quality throughout Masterise Group's enterprise systems. Collaborate with teams to establish data quality standards and develop data cleansing procedures. Additionally, devise strategies to improve data quality, address technical and historical data gaps, and perform data backfilling or mitigation as needed. (Management)
• Continuously enhance the data management infrastructure, which includes the upkeep of data warehouses, data lakes, and presentation layer systems. This also involves remaining current with the latest advancements in data technology and seeking innovative solutions to enhance the data infrastructure, resulting in faster service times and reduced infrastructure costs. Scope 2: Data Engineering and Governance
• Take the lead in cultivating and overseeing a team of data and systems engineers responsible for designing and maintaining data pipelines, data APIs, ETL processes, and other data-related subsystems. Implement and sustain data integration solutions to consolidate data from various sources, staying current with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices from SAP, Amazon Web Service and Salesforces. • Collaborate closely with IT and software development teams to ensure alignment of data architecture with business requirements. Conduct routine audits and assessments to uphold data quality and integrity. Additionally, optimize data processing and query performance to facilitate efficient data retrieval, thereby ensuring the continuity and performance of the business operations. (Engineering)
• Formulate and enforce data governance policies and procedures, defining roles and responsibilities for data stewardship across the organization. Establish data ownership and accountability frameworks, ensuring strict compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards, while adhering to the latest data privacy laws and decrees of Vietnam and regionally operated countries. (Governance)
Scope 3: Data Operation and Analytics
• Seamlessly integrate data and information into daily operations, connecting various departments, subsidiaries, and internal/external partners of Masterise Homes. This includes maintaining reports, dashboards, subscriptions, and addressing data service requests. (Operation)
• Actively engage with business and management stakeholders to harness data insights for operational enhancement. Align these insights with the organization's operational strategy and overarching business objectives. Identify gaps and inefficiencies across departments and formulate strategies to optimize processes and reduce friction throughout the real estate value chain. (Operation)
• Lead the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) for business stakeholders through exploratory analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency enhancements across all functional areas. (Analytics)
• Oversee data visualization and drive the development of data analytics models and algorithms. These efforts result in actionable, data-driven recommendations that guide strategic business decision-making. (Analytics)
• Maintain the sanity and maturity of analytics models, ensuring they align with the overall business strategy and remain relevant and effective. (Analytics)
